Full PA System. Hi there, your looking at a well used and well looked after PA System. Every part of this system was bought separately in an attempt to create a perfect sounding, practical and reliable set up. It was used twice a week for a year and did not fail me in any way. I found that the combination of PEAVEY Speakers and a MACKIE desk, produces a better quality of sound as a hybrid, than most PEAVEY or MACKIE 'professional PA system packages'. The Auction includes- Speakers: 2X Peavey Top Speakers 2X Peavey 115XT Bass bins (With good quality slip on covers) Mixer: Mackie CFX 12 MK 2, housed in a SKB X Rack flight case. Power amp: C-Audio GB602 (also racked up in the flight case). Cables: 4X Neutrik Heavy duty Speakon Cables (2x 5m, 1x 10m, 1x 15m). 2X Kettle leads. 2X small XLR cables for linking up amp + mixer. And a 6way socket extension (for practicality at gigs). Lastly, 2X High quality 'On-Stage' Speaker Tripods and Poles. Note: This system is a collection of separate purchases, and did not come as a set originally. It has been a great Hybrid PA to use for functions indoor and out. The only 'damage' is slight scuffing on the flight case, with the obvious scratches and marks from loading and unloading. The speakers have slight wear on the felt, but have no significant or blatant tearing. The grills on the speakers show slight signs of rust, but again there are only subtle marks. A slight feedback/ humming noise can be heard in the top two speakers. However, this is only when there is no music playing through the Mixer and the channels are turned up high, most likely feedback related. It has been used for both band and solo performances, and is more than capable of micing up a full live drum kit, aswell as vocals, backing tracks, keys, bass and guitar. It also includes an AUX cable for plugging an iPod, phone or backing track in. I have received positive comments from fellow musicians as well as audience members, on the overall 'depth' of the sound. I find that the individual channels on this Mackie desk, gives the user a lot of customisation in terms of panning the sound left to right, and precise channel and EQ control. All in all I'd say this is perfect for anyone who wants a practical, reliable and professional sounding system for well under half the original asking price. It is also ready to use as it is, as every cable needed is included in this sale. If you choose to buy the system, I am happy to run through the basic setup and sound controls if help is required.
